As some of the players have been inquiring about the authenticity of the playmats that they own,
we have decided to compile a list of the official playmats here that have been released over the past.

Please take note that the playmats have never been released for sale,
and have only been released as campaign goods so far.
If there is a viable demand for these items in the market,
rest assured that Bushiroad will definitely take it into consideration.

List of Official Playmats

Supplements given with the Japanese children's manga magazine: Kero Kero Ace.
These two playmats are made of a different material from the rest of the playmats.

And the above is a list of the official and legal playmats which have been released so far in the world.

I really hope our locals doesn't get confused with the actual mat that I got from the Gold Trigger campaign (red vanguard circle official mat.)

I would definitely be wiling to shell out some money for one of those sweet mats given the opportunity. Even if it was just the standard red and blue ones.

The material is closer to that of leather. I believe it's some sort of pleather or a similar material.
However it comes folded and if you've ever seen leather that's been creased it's hard to get the creases out of it the first thing you need to do when you get one of those is put some books on it or iron the creases out. It's a very nice mat though tried to get my hands on one but failed.

The new ones are going for 40 bucks on ebay. Overpriced but affordable.

It's sad us people not from Japan have to actually buy these things rather than get lucky with some points and trade them in. Especially the HQ KerKero mats, those get pricey if you don't order the book from a Japanese website.

Well it balances out they can only either get it by doing the and buying them or just randomly getting them out of a pack. Since theres no ratio as to how triggers are distributed in a box and it does infact seem to be random it's all the same.

Except the English version doesn't have a trigger campaign, so unless you're okay spending 25+ dollars to get any of these mats, then no, it's not balanced.

It is considering how much any other playmat costs anyways it comes out to about the same except you don't have to rely on luck to get them.

You've probably also never seen someone open 4 Japanese booster boxes and get exactly 0 triggers.

If only the rest of the world have access to such awesome playmats (droll...) ,Bushiroad would have less problem regarding counterfeit products ^^ so only suggestion, Bushiroad plan the release of official playmats!!! And quick before the the World Championship ^^

They already have them out and distribute them to stores that sell vanguard products its just a matter of getting your store to stock them.

Shame most Bushiroad mats are thinner than most T-shirts in the US. Makes them a pain to use the only quality products bushiroad puts out are deck boxes and their card games oh how I wish their sleeves and mats were better </3

I had a KKA mat...i didn't like it due to the cards with sleeves would stick to the mat and was kind of a pain and the other mats that are like fabric there good but at times the card sleeves would snag on it and ruin the design on the mat I been thinking of taking a plan mat 24x 16 mat and maybe glue down a bushiroad mat onto a blank mat to make the cloth mat a little more stable when i use it

Bushiroad should really consider printing the mats on a more durable material rather than flimsy cloth/fabric that moves whenever standing/resting cards.

mats suck stop making them out of cloth it's weak and the point of the card always messes up the mat

The reason counterfeit matts are a problem is because its so easy to re-create the cheap material the company uses to make them, honestly the only way i would recognize that my mat is a fraud is if the it was made out of durable, reliable material.

    Yukari dun borken it again.

One question about Offical Events. Of my mat isn't one from Bushiroad, am I still allowed to use it? Or if I want to use a mat does it HAVE to be Bushiroad? Could I use any of my Yu-Gi-Oh mats or similar? Just Paladins or either of Kai's clans have never really appealed to me at all. I'll wait for the Aqua Force mat.

...Provided you make one, but Leon's important...right?

How often is this list updated? Is it after a certain number of new playmats are released? Or is it just random?
