TCG Shops in London

Does anyone know of any TCG Shops in London? Where you can buy cards and just sit down and play matches? (Obviously it would be all types of card games and not just Vanguard). Have literally never come across a place.

Unfortunately these sort of places don't really exist in London.
There are plenty of Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments / clubs around though, which do have players of other card games as well.
There's an event at the County Hotel near Euston on Friday evenings http://www.thegamesclub.org/ that is YGO, but I know some people turn up to play Vanguard too. They also run Magic events as you can tell from the site.
In Upminster on Saturday's there is a YGO event with a couple of Vaguard players.
There's a club in Cockfosters called The Dark Arts http://www.uktcgs.com/events/51227092/?eventId=51227092&action=detail which is mainly a YGO event, but the TO has told me they get all sorts of other players and Vanguard is quite popular.
Admittedly it's probably the same Vanguard players going to all these events.
There's also a little 2nd hand games shop in Croydon that does some YGO stuff on Sundays/Thursdays as well.
Forbidden Planet (which I'm sure you're aware of) sells lots of cards downstairs, and one evening / day (can't recall which), was visiting it and was surprised to find a group of Magic players had taken over some of the tables downstairs (I assume with the consent of the shop?).
Outside of London I know of some shops around the country like Mad for Miniatures in Cornwall and Fanboy3 in Birmingham which are the sort of shops you're looking for, but they're not in London. We just generally don't have this sort of culture in the UK, and oddly not at all in London.
Hope this is of some help.

http://www.darksphere.co.uk/ -Waterloo Station in London. They usually have a MTG presence but if someone demo's cardfight vanguard there, I'm sure it'll grab their interest.

London is a very expensive place and like Xagor said we don't have this culture. I sort of blame the fact that we don't have card games viewed any more in the media. I remember the time Yu-gi-oh was on our channel and people would be excited by the aspect of a card game.

Ah thanks for the great info! I guess we can only rely on tournaments held by players then. It's true the TCG Culture isn't big in the UK, I hope CFV can help change that

As I said we've got quite a few players around interested in Vanguard. I know some who wanted to try starting to run events. I think Hyper Japan will be a good chance to try and gather other Vanguard players together and find out what the community is like.

The only people I know who have heard of it are friends I have introduced to the game, I hope that Hyper Japan will boost its awareness. Not only can we see what the community is like, we can watch it grow from there on. Hopefully it'll get big.

I'm right near cockfosters but I don't want to feel like I'm the only vanguard player there so dam
Hope once vanguard gets more recognition from hyper japan then shops will start hosting them instead of vanguard living off ygo events
Well I'm off to hyper either fri or sat, see you there maybe? ;)

Yea hopefully it will pick up and have its own events. Having the Anime aired in the UK will certainly help though. I would certainly see you there, but I am going on the Sunday :( Have a great time though!
